Spring
"Shamble" - Saturday,
April 20
All
GGS members are invited to participate in the first
event of our 2024 season... the Spring "Shamble"
at Arrowhead Pointe.
Invite
up to three guests or register with other members to
form a four-man team. The format for the tournament
will be a handicapped "Shamble" in which everyone plays
their own ball from the point of their team's best drive.
Each player will receive 50% of their course handicap
and the best net scores will count as follows:
Hole 1 = 3 balls, Hole 2 = 2 balls, Hole 3 = 1 ball.
Teams repeat 3, 2, 1 each three holes, i.e. 3, 2, 1,
3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1
You may bring as many guests as you would like, partner
with other members, or sign up as a single. The Tournament
Committee will gladly help pair up competitive teams.
The committee will need a USGA Handicap Index for each
guest. If a guest does not have an established handicap
the tournament committee will assign one..
The
Spring One-Day Shamble will be played at
Arrowhead Pointe at Lake Richard B Russell
on Saturday, April 20. Tee times will begin at
10:50 AM.
Tournament
Fees:
$49 + tax for Green/Cart Fee & Range (payable
to Arrowhead Pointe)
$15 entry fee per player (to be invoiced to GGS
member) |

(based on a field of 40 players)
Prizes will be awarded for best team score on
FRONT, BACK and OVERALL
